May 11: New York ABLE Presentation Spotlight

On Thursday, May 11 at 2pm ET we hosted our ABLE Account Spotlight covering the features of New York ABLE.

The NY ABLE Program is a tax-advantaged savings program for individuals with disabilities and their families to save for their current or long term needs while maintaining their ability to benefit from federal benefits programs such as SSI, SSDI and Medicaid. Our program offers multiple investment options including a checking account and debit card option allowing individuals with disabilities to maintain their independence and have quick and easy access to their own money.

New York’s Achieving a Better Life Experience (NY ABLE) Program helps individuals with disabilities and their families:
• Save for disability related expenses;
• Earn income on investments free from taxes when used for qualified disability expenses; and
• Maintain ability to benefit from Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Medicaid, and other federal programs.
• Questions and answers
