In recognition of #ABLEtoSave Month this April, we invite you to join the ABLE National Resource Center (ABLE NRC) for a dynamic, one-hour webinar focused on a critical question: Where can I find money to contribute to my ABLE account?
Saving in an ABLE account does not require having “extra” money. There are many events and milestones for which funds can be contributed, and funds can come from everyday sources such as employment income, family, friends, tax refunds, trusts, 529 qualified tuition plans and structured settlements. This session will explore creative and practical pathways to help people with disabilities build and grow their ABLE savings with confidence.
This event features a panel of ABLE ambassadors who will share their lived experiences and a national subject matter expert who will share real-world strategies that promote ABLE account contributions:
Panelists:
- Ty Smith – ABLE Account Owner
- Jawanda Mast – Parent of an ABLE Account Owner
- James R. Sheldon – Attorney, ABLE & Work Incentives Subject Matter Expert and Grandparent of an ABLE Account Owner.
Moderator:
- Jody Ellis – Director, ABLE NRC
Participants will gain:
- Fresh ideas for occasions and potential sources of ABLE contributions
- Insider tips from ABLE account owners and families who are building their savings
- Tools and resources to take next steps during #ABLEtoSave month and beyond
ABLE accounts let you save money, grow your investments tax-free and keep your benefits intact. We hope you’ll join us to level up your savings game.
