August 2018 was #ABLEtoSave month, a nationwide awareness campaign led by the ABLE National Resource Center (ABLE NRC) to provide information about Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) accounts, which are a new financial savings tool for individuals with disabilities.
The goal of this webinar is to assist potential ABLE account owners in better understanding the steps needed to enroll in an ABLE program. The webinar explains the need for documentation that may be required and what to take into consideration when comparing one ABLE program to another. The webinar incorporates a panel of ABLE related stakeholders that will be asked to give their perspective on the presentation, including their experience with the given topic. Additionally, we announced our second phase of the ANRC website that will help current ABLE account owners better understand how to maximize the benefits of being an ABLE account owner.
